Toni Bou conquista su vigésimo título mundial de X-Trial en Francia
El piloto español Toni Bou (Repsol Honda Trial Team) ha vuelto a escribir una página histórica en el deporte al proclamarse Campeón del Mundo de X-Trial por vigésima vez consecutiva, tras imponerse en la prueba celebrada en Chalon-sur-Saône. Con esta victoria, Bou alcanza su séptimo triunfo de la temporada y cierra dos décadas de dominio absoluto en la disciplina.
La final estuvo marcada por la emoción y la tensión competitiva. Bou se destacó desde la Q1 y la Superpole, y en la segunda sección de la final logró abrir distancia con una penalización mínima frente a sus rivales. Su compañero de equipo, Gabriel Marcelli, se mantuvo cerca hasta el último tramo, mientras que Harry Hemingway (Beta) y Jaime Busto (GasGas) luchaban por completar el podio.
Bou selló el título en la cuarta sección, siendo el único en completarla sin penalizaciones. Aunque en la última zona sufrió una caída que le provocó un corte en la mano, el campeón ya tenía asegurada la victoria y el título.

Toni Bou secures his 20th X-Trial World Championship title in France
Spanish rider Toni Bou (Repsol Honda Trial Team) has once again made history by claiming his 20th consecutive X-Trial World Championship title, following a commanding performance at the Chalon-sur-Saône round of the 2026 season. This marks his seventh victory of the year, solidifying two decades of dominance in the sport.
Bou led from the start, topping both Q1 and the Superpole, and widened the gap in the second section of the final with a minimal penalty, while his rivals struggled. His teammate Gabriel Marcelli closed in briefly, but Harry Hemingway (Beta) and Jaime Busto (GasGas) fell behind in the fight for the podium.
In the fourth section, Bou was the only rider to complete the zone without penalties, and the cancellation of the fifth section handed him the title. Despite a fall in the final zone that caused a minor hand injury, Bou had already secured the win.
