La esquiadora alemana Emma Aicher se ha impuesto en la primera prueba de Supergigante (SG) de la Audi FIS Ski World Cup Andorra 2026, celebrada en la pista Àliga tras la cancelación de la cita prevista en Zauchensee (Austria). Con un tiempo de 1:26.72, la joven de 21 años ha firmado su quinto triunfo en Copa del Mundo, el tercero en esta disciplina.
El podio lo completaron la neozelandesa Alice Robinson (+0.88) y la austriaca Corinne Suter (+0.98), reciente vencedora del Descenso disputado el viernes.
Goggia mantiene el liderato pese a la sexta posición
La italiana Sofia Goggia, líder de la clasificación de SG, finalizó sexta pero conserva la primera plaza con 320 puntos. “He hecho una carrera sólida, pero no he podido ser lo suficientemente rápida en la parte central”, reconoció, confiada en mejorar su rendimiento en la última jornada del domingo.
Su compatriota Federica Brignone, una de las figuras más mediáticas del circuito, no logró situarse entre las primeras y concluyó en la 15ª posición. “La pista es increíble, una de las mejores del calendario, y espero mañana poder conseguir un mejor resultado”, señaló.

• Emma Aicher: “Ha sido un gran día. Mi esquí va en la dirección correcta y es bonito ver que todo el trabajo ha valido la pena”.
• Alice Robinson: “Este segundo puesto me da puntos valiosos para seguir cerca del liderato. Andorra siempre será especial para mí, aquí logré mi primer podio en 2019. Nos hacen sentir como si estuviéramos de vacaciones; el clima y las pistas son espectaculares”.
• Corinne Suter: “En un SG debes confiar en tus instintos y hoy me ha salido bien. La nieve estaba impresionante, todas coincidimos en que nos habría gustado volver a bajarla otra vez”.
  Participación andorrana
  La corredora local Jordina Caminal, con el dorsal 56, no pudo completar la bajada tras un error en el primer salto. “Lo he intentado, pero no ha podido ser. De cara al último SG tocará arriesgar y darlo todo, pero siendo inteligente con las líneas”, afirmó. Caminal destacó además la valoración positiva de sus compañeras sobre la organización: “Todas coinciden en que Andorra es la mejor sede del circuito, tanto por la acogida como por el estado de la pista”.
  Expectación para el desenlace
  El Supergigante del domingo pondrá el broche final a la Copa del Mundo femenina en Grandvalira. Con Sofia Goggia (320 puntos) y Alice Robinson (300 puntos) separadas por apenas 20 puntos, la pista Àliga será escenario de un emocionante duelo por el liderato de la disciplina.

German skier Emma Aicher took the win in the first Super-G (SG) race of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup Andorra 2026, rescheduled to the Àliga course after the cancellation of Zauchensee (Austria). With a time of 1:26.72, the 21-year-old secured her fifth World Cup victory, her third in Super-G.
The runner-up spot went to New Zealand’s Alice Robinson (+0.88), while Austria’s Corinne Suter (+0.98), winner of Friday’s Downhill, completed the podium.
Goggia holds onto the lead despite finishing sixth
Italy’s Sofia Goggia, current leader in the SG standings, managed to retain her position at the top with 320 points despite finishing sixth. “It was a solid run, but I wasn’t fast enough in the middle section,” she admitted, determined to improve in Sunday’s decisive race.
Her compatriot Federica Brignone, one of the circuit’s most prominent athletes, finished 15th. “The course is incredible, one of the best on the calendar, and I hope to achieve a better result tomorrow,” she said.

  Andorran skier Jordina Caminal, starting with bib number 56, was unable to complete her run after a mistake on the first jump. “I tried, but it didn’t work out. For the final SG I’ll have to take risks and give it everything, while being smart with the lines,” she reflected. Caminal also highlighted the positive feedback from her fellow competitors: “Everyone agrees that Andorra offers the best organization on the circuit, from the volunteers to the course preparation.”

  The final Super-G on Sunday will close the women’s World Cup in Grandvalira. With Sofia Goggia (320 points) and Alice Robinson (300 points) separated by just 20 points, the Àliga slope is set to host a thrilling head-to-head battle for the discipline lead.
