The Slovenian rider triumphs over Pogacar, Vingegaard, and Del Toro in a groundbreaking competition that positions Andorra as a new hub for international cycling
Andorra la Vella, October 19, 2025 — Slovenian cyclist Primoz Roglic claimed victory in the first edition of the Andorra Cycling Masters, an innovative-format race held this weekend in the Principality. The event brought together four of the most prominent names in the global peloton: Tadej Pogacar, Jonas Vingegaard, Isaac del Toro, and Roglic himself.
Conceived as a high-level exhibition event, the competition consisted of two scoring stages: a grueling eight-kilometer uphill time trial to Coll de la Gallina, and a city circuit race through the streets of Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany. Roglic displayed remarkable consistency in both disciplines, amassing a total of 55 points, ahead of Del Toro (51), Pogacar (42), and Vingegaard (36).
In the time trial, Roglic clocked the fastest time at 25 minutes and 39 seconds, followed by Pogacar (25:59), Del Toro (28:05), and Vingegaard (29:24). The second stage, held on a city circuit that drew thousands of fans, was won by Isaac del Toro, who crossed the finish line first after fifteen thrilling laps. However, the points Roglic earned in intermediate sprints allowed him to secure the overall victory.
